Big deal! About a year ago Akmola district hospital No.2 appealed to "Saby" charitable foundation with a request to help in life-critical medical equipment acquisition.Considering that the hospital was not fully equipped with resuscitation systems, last year we purchased a stationary ultrasonic diagnostic system, as well as two respiratory humidifiers intended for gases supplied to the patient heating and moistening during lung ventilation. These devices, certainly, facilitated hospital operation, but, unfortunately, the issue about the necessary medical equipment shortage has not yet been taken off the table.

A year on, having found all the necessary monetary funds, we were able to back to question about Akmola district hospital No. 2 equipage with advanced equipment. As a result, we were able to additionally acquire a mechanical obstetric surgical table with a combination actuator and two medical aspirators in order to exhaust liquids, tissue particles and gases from the patients' body cavities and upper respiratory passages. The aspirator has already been supplied to the hospital, and in the early part of June a surgical table will be supplied for further use.

"Saby" charitable foundation expresses a great gratitude to all those who participated in funds raising for medical equipment purchase by means of which more than one human life will be saved.

"Build Your Business-2017". More information about the finalistsAquaPoint as a source of water for health.

The "Saby" Charitable Foundation headed by Kenes Rakishev and his wife Asel Tasmagambetova provided a grant of $ 20,000 to the AquaPoint startup producing devices to purify ordinary tap water to the drinking water.

The project was proposed by young residents of Almaty Galym Baytimbetov and Aizhan Yesekina. It was also supported by the Nazarbayev University.
"There are very few sources of free clean water in Kazakhstan," Kenes Rakishev said. "We believe that this program will help to solve the problem of drinking water in public places, first of all, educational institutions where the water is drunk by children. Besides, this device is completely produced in Kazakhstan, although it includes the best aspects of the foreign practice."

The AquaPoint device is connected to the usual water supply network. Next, the water passes through three stages of filtration to meet all standards. After that, one can drink it through a drinking fountain or fill a bottle through a special tap. Within a month, one device can supply more than 1,000 people with free clean water preventing the use of tens of thousands plastic bottles and cups. Unlike dispensers, the AquaPoint device pays off within less than one year. With each subsequent year, the device increasingly saves buyer’s money, which makes it economically profitable.

"Build Your Business-2017". More information about the finalists Board games are sports for everyone!

The Balalaroom project received a grant of $ 20,000 from the "Saby" Charitable Foundation for the production of children’s sports board games.
"When we started our project, I thought about my own children first of all," the project manager Sergey Teifel said. "However, while working and communicating with the Russian Federation of Sports Board Games, we understood that these games are of great importance for the rehabilitation of disabled people. After visiting one of the boarding schools for children in Almaty, we realized the high demand for them in Kazakhstan. And we decided to move in this direction as well."

At the first stage, the Balalaroom project participants made 12 special sports board games having no analogues in Kazakhstan with their own hands. They were based on games from Canada, America, Holland, France, India and many other countries. Each of them is a separate sports discipline with clear and fascinating rules. Playing these games, children not only have fun, but also improve their health, find new friends and get unforgettable impressions of the victories.

"The goal of our work is to provide active and useful leisure for the whole family," the "Saby" Foundation co-founder Kenes Rakishev says. "I am a father myself, and same as many parents I am concerned about too much time spent by our children with their smartphones, the lack of communication and lack of benefit for health.
